FCABC Education Institute Liaison – liaison with the education providers (post secondary schools) with regards to training subjects and initiative and report back to the Fire Chief Association of BC and the BC Fire Training Officers Association

Fire Service Liaison Group Leadership Committee – FSLG Leadership committee is established to support government with direction and recommendations for the Fire Service.

JIBC Career Fire Fighter Pre Employment Certificate Program Committee – The committee is established to periodically review and give guidance to the Fire & Safety Division for direction of the Career Fire Fighter Pre Employment Certificate Program.

FCABC and BCFTOA JIBC Fire Safety Advisory Committee – Committee representative for the Fire Chief Association of BC and BC Fire Training Officers Association regarding the Fire & Safety Division

Elevating Device Committee – The committee was established to try and to establish elevating device training for the Fire Service.

Electrical Fire Fighter Safety Training Committee – Electrical Safety initiative to establish a Train the Trainer program which included the development of the training and scheduling of training events.

Infection Prevention Techniques for First Responders Committee – working with Ministry of Health to establish a program for First Responders for Infection Prevention Techniques.

BCFTOA Annual Conference Committee – Committee established annual to work with the local fire department host and BCFTOA Executive for the annual education conference.

NFPA 1033 ProBoard Certification Review Committee VIERA – BCFTOA representative for the Vancouver Island Emergency Response Academy and the NFPA 1033 Standard for Professional Qualifications for Fire Investigator.

BCFTOA representative FCABC Public Education Committee – Representative for the BCFTOA for the Fire Chief Public Education Committee.

Emergency Scene Traffic Control – Emergency Scene Traffic Control initiative to establish a Train the Trainer program which included the development of the training and scheduling of training events.

Gas Safety Fire Fighter Training Committee - Gas Safety initiative to establish a Train the Trainer program which included the development of the training and scheduling of training events.
